Young people from Gołdap took part in the event ‘Music in the Embrace of Nature – Augustów is the Future Festival’, showcasing their artistic talents on stage alongside performers from Augustów and Druskininkai.
Gołdap was represented by participants from the Vocal Workshop led by Katarzyna Boruc and the AKRO DANCE dance group under the guidance of Mirosław Bobrowski. The performance provided an opportunity to showcase local talent, as well as to bring young people together and facilitate the exchange of experiences between the project partners.
Participation in the event was a further element of the cross-border cooperation carried out as part of the strategic project ‘Partnership of Health Resorts for the Development of the Border Region’, which aims, amongst other things, to develop cultural and social cooperation between health resorts in Poland and Lithuania.
The event was co-financed by the European Union under the Interreg VI-A Lithuania–Poland Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 2021–2027.
