On 26 September, a promotional event took place in Augustów as part of the cross-border cooperation project ‘Health Resort Partnership for Border Region Development’.
One of its main features was a live broadcast on Polish Radio Programme 1 entitled ‘The Only Place of Its Kind’, dedicated to showcasing the spa, tourism and health potential of the project partners and promoting the jointly developed brand for the border region’s spas.
The Mayor of Gołdap also took part in the programme, talking about Gołdap’s spa and tourist attractions, its unique features and what it has to offer residents and tourists alike.
The programme also provided an opportunity to promote the partnership established as part of the project. It was emphasised that, thanks to joint initiatives, it is possible to promote the region more effectively as an attractive destination for leisure, relaxation and active pursuits.
An additional feature of the event was a series of stands and workshops promoting a healthy lifestyle and physical activity, aimed at local residents and tourists. The programme included, amongst other things, exercise sessions, health workshops and family activities. The event concluded with an evening concert, which attracted a large audience and served as the culmination of a day dedicated to promoting the border region’s health resorts and partnership cooperation.
