This is an important document that will set out the directions for the development and promotion of border region health resorts, including the range of services on offer, strategic objectives and brand communication strategies.
The strategy development process is open and participatory in nature – it involves a series of consultation workshops. The second round of workshops began on 14 May in Druskininkai and included presentations and workshop activities focusing, amongst other things, on brand positioning, vision and mission, and the strategic objectives for promoting the border region’s health resorts.
Anyone interested in helping to shape the strategy still has the opportunity to get involved in the process. Further workshop meetings are scheduled for 25 May in Gołdap and 10 June in Augustów.

The work is being carried out as part of the ‘Health Resort Partnership for Border Region Development’ project, implemented in broad partnership with Augustów, Supraśl and the Lithuanian health resorts of Druskininkai and Birštonas. The project is co-financed by the European Union under the Interreg VI-A Lithuania–Poland Programme 2021–2027.
