We are delighted to share an update on the current progress of the amphitheatre construction works. This is one of the key investments being carried out as part of the ‘Health Resort Partnership for Border Region Development’ project, co-financed by the European Union under the Interreg VI-A Lithuania–Poland Programme 2021–2027.

By the end of September 2025, the following, amongst other things, had been completed:

  • removal of trees that are obstructing the development,
  • the removal of the surface layer from paths and pavements, and the dismantling of street lights,
  • removal of topsoil, earthworks and excavation,
  • foundations, foundation walls, retaining walls, vertical and horizontal waterproofing in the amphitheatre’s backstage building with a stage,
  • partial backfilling and compaction of the foundations; commencement of bricklaying for the building’s walls and the installation of plumbing,
  • most of the foundations of the covered auditorium,
  • the installation of water and sewerage connections and the commencement of work on external sanitary installations.

The project is gradually taking shape – we can’t wait to see the next stages!
